Answers to the following questions would be helpful in continuing with my research:
- What is a communicable disease?
- How do these diseases typically spread across a population?
- Examples of different diseases
- Do certain conditions increase the likelihood of disease spread?
- How are commuiting patterns in the US determined?
- How is disease-specific data overlayed with geographic information to produce a model for desease spread?

interesting, you might want to pick a geographic area if the focus is commuting/disease, since commuting pattern would differ in diff areas. Seems like comm pattern is another term for population movement in a given time frame, it makes sense that it'd be useful if a rapidly spreading agent is in the mix. I'd guess the transportation dept of each city know the pattern. Look forward to the next revision of the topic
